Public Running Schedule 2018


Field Place, Durrington


Rides are provided for the public at Field Place between 2pm and 5 pm on the *second and fourth Sundays of every month between April and October. Below is the schedule for 2018. Those in red or green are special events where the hours may be extended. The next running date is also published on the home page


The first of these specials is on Sunday 9th September, Charity Day. This year it's in aid of Worthing Guild care. It all starts at 11.00 am and runs through to 5.00 pm


A variety of 5 inch gauge live steam and diesel outline electric locomotives provide the motive power. Rides cost 50p each.


If you would like information on holding a birthday party at our club for children of ALL ages then email our club secretary to find details of what dates are available for this year.

If you wish you can download the centre pages of our leaflet for this years public running that starts on Easter Sunday. You can of course collect the real thing on any running day, from within the clubhouse and also in the vicinity of the ticket office.

But we really do need your help to be able to progress with the construction of the New Disabled Toilets.


In the mean time please help us with the changes currently being employed when you alight from the train, members are there to assist.


These are for everyone's safety during the construction works that are happening at the point where you used to alight from.
